CapLab — Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: December 10, 2025

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital age of consent in your region). You may not use the Service if you are barred by applicable law.

2. Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account
• Notify us of unauthorized access
• Not share or transfer your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

3. Fees

• CapLab is currently free to create and join leagues
• If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these Terms in advance
• Any future payments would be processed securely by third-party payment processors

4. Gameplay Rules

• Users receive a weekly budget (e.g., $200)
• Player values are based on weekly projections
• All teams reset weekly
• Users are ranked on their league's leaderboard
• We may update rules or scoring formulas at any time

5. Public Information in the Service

Your:

• Username
• Display name
• Profile image
• League participation
• Leaderboard ranking

may be visible to other users.

6. Prohibited Conduct

6.1 Abusive Behavior

• Post or send abusive, threatening, hateful, or harassing content
• Engage in discrimination, racism, sexism, or harassment
• Target users with harmful or derogatory behavior

6.2 Cheating or Manipulation

• Use bots or automation
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage

6.3 Illegal or Harmful Activities

• Impersonate others
• Upload copyrighted or unlawful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to hack or reverse engineer the app

Violations may result in immediate account termination.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, code, designs, logos, and features are owned by CapLab App LLC. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service.

8. Payments and Refunds

• CapLab does not currently charge any fees.
• Additional paid features may be introduced in the future
• Payment processors have their own terms and privacy policies

9. Third-Party Data & Accuracy

We rely on external projections and stats.

We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of projections
• Availability of data
• Uninterrupted service

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CapLab App LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid in the past 12 months

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Fraud or abuse
• Security or legal concerns

Upon termination:

• Your access ends immediately
• We may retain or delete your data per our Privacy Policy

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New York, USA.

Disputes will be resolved in New York, NY, unless prohibited by law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect upon posting.
